Yaremche is a mountain resort, one of the most famous and popular tourist centers of Ukraine, located in Ivano-Frankivsk region, at an altitude of 585 meters above sea level, on the bank of the Prut River in the wooded foothills of the Carpathians.

Yaremche is a classic Carpathian town with picturesque vivid architecture, perfectly fitting into unique mountain landscapes. The city seems to be woven from modern luxury hotels, private puppet gardens, tourist bases, sanatoriums, rest homes, children's health camps.

In winter, the main attraction in Yaremche is skiing or sledging: both in the town itself on a two-hundred-meter lift, and on the slopes of the nearest resorts - Bukovel, Vorokhta, Yablunitsa, Dragobrat.

In the warm season, tourists come here to breathe fresh mountain medical air, to engage in active tourism, to undergo mineral water (Ropa) in the resort of Morshin.

The main attractions of Yaremche are the rocks, a stone and the path of the legendary opryshka Dovbush; waterfall "Probiy", over which rises a 12-meter bridge; the wooden Church of the Archangel Michael; Carpathian Museum of Local Lore; Museum of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky; the Church of St. John the Merciful and the bell tower near it (17-18 centuries) are a fine example of Hutsul folk architecture.
